XAMCHECK - Senior Manager - Operations (6-9 yrs)

As a Senior Manager; your key responsibility would be :

1. Planning, executing & tracking of error-free and on time printing and delivery operations

a. Preparing roadmap of operations to match business scale-up year on year.

b. Planning budget, manpower and material requirement

c. Adopting effective vendor distribution, working and building association with the largest vendors in India

d. Managing delivery of books, teaching materials, teaching aids, digital content, assessments, individualised feedback & remedials to schools throughout the academic year across the country.

e. Managing existing vendors & constantly evaluating vendors for dealing with the various projects that we undertake across the learning cycle.

2. Communication, coordination and update to customers and internal teams

a. Maintain reports of execution and update Business Team (Customer facing teams) and Customers

b. Close co-ordination with other functions (Content, Technology & Finance) for inputs

c. Issue resolution and closing with Customers and customer facing teams

3. Manage and guide operations team and help them achieve their deliverables

a. Create & Monitor dashboards which reflect the performance of various facets of the function

b. Constantly mentor team members & provide them with avenues of growth

c. Identify the areas of improvement for the team and focus on skill building

4. Run pilot projects to improve the efficiency of the operations

a. High levels of agility in terms to improve the process using feedback from customers / customer facing teams

b. Optimizing cost, quality and TAT of deliveries

c. Work with other functions to build new capabilities

Qualifications / Experience :

1. B. Tech / MBA from a reputed institute

2. 6 - 9 year work experience in operations in one or more of the following areas: supply chain / logistics / warehousing / procurement

3. Experience in handling inter-functional communication

4. Experience in managing teams of at least 5 members

5. Experience in handling customer issue resolution

6. Experience in implementing software / ERP / automation
