About the role : As Logistics / Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the following : - Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services - Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle - Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers - Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency - Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments - Resolve any arising problems or complaints - Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce - Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets - Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements - Planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries. - Booking in deliveries and liaising with customers. - Allocating and recording resources and movements on the transport planning system. - Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations. - Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements. - Booking subcontractors and ensuring they deliver within agreed terms. - Directing all transportation activities. Goals : - Broad knowledge of material handling, warehouse operations and transportation systems required - Set up logistics and warehouse systems quickly across the company, and processes to manage them. - Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of diverse backgrounds and an emphasis on communication: - Training, team building, negotiation skills, interdepartmental interaction, leadership and supervision (motivation, directing) and management (planning, budgeting, projecting revenues, analyzing accounts); Requirements : Education Requirements : MBA preferred No. of years of Experience : 2-6 yrs of experience Relevant Experience : Logistics or Warehouse Manager Preferable Industry : Logistics/Supply chain Skills/Soft Skills/Desirable Attributes : - Problem Solving Skills. - Good in taking moves. - Quick Implementor - Good Communication skills. - Have an experience of working on ground for Logistics or Warehouses (and not just excel analysis and reporting).
