JOB REQUISITES : 

Role Summary : 

- The role will assist the continuing expansion of our business by proving required data research services, specifically about our internal group companies as well as our peers in India and internationally. The person will work with an internationally focused and diverse team helping them in this regard. The role will be responsible for the collection and interpretation of data, formulating reports and making recommendations based upon the research findings.

Responsibilities :

The role requires following :

- Research and source the (predominantly industry) data from various open source and external databases. Analyse, interpreting industry, peer group, internal and external data to facilitate internal management in decision making.

- Obtaining relevant data from our internal lead countries within the group, analysing the same in context with India entity. This means looking internally against lead regions

- Carrying out market intelligence & research to support various business support functions of the company

- Conducting trade interviews with stakeholders, undertaking desk research and engaging in data analysis and market reporting.

- Assess the performance of our competitors internal and external, to identify geographic, regional, corporate and business opportunities.

- Creating value for this function, so that this can be accepted as a new line of service line for India entity and group companies start taking benefit of this role under our iCRC umbrella

- Selling services of the function to our internal group companies

Key Competencies / Skills :

- 4+ years of work experience in knowledge research and analysis

- A proven track record in primary and secondary research

- Superb numeracy and analytical skills

- Good knowledge of India's macro and socio-economic trends

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong interest in carrying out research for engineering consulting industries

- Computer literacy, with good experience MS Office, especially Excel, Word and Power Point

- Excellent communications skills

- Creativity and curiosity

- A good team player

- Fluent oral and written English

- A strong understanding of macroeconomic, demographic and international trade concepts and knowledge of key data series

- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and priorities effectively

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications: 

A degree in mathematics, business, marketing, economics, political science, statistics or other related fields
