Writer Corporation - Senior Manager/DGM - Strategy (10-12 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities

- Providing strategic support to fuel the Growth agenda of the enterprise, aligned to Vision and Strategic objectives

- Driving and further improving upon the existing Integrated Strategy Planning process and long term plans with involvement of all BUs, Functions and all stakeholders as per Strategy Calendar.

- Articulating the all aligned Enterprise, BU and Function level strategic roadmap and 5 year financial plans over an iterative process with the stakeholders with high degree of ownership and buy-in.

- Keeping the strategy fresh and forward looking at all times through a high degree of trend watching, outside in perspectives and deep understanding of business nuances.

- Collaborating with Community of Experts / Partners to know outside -in perspectives and adopt best in class practices and knowhow in the Strategy domain.

- Keeping abreast with latest developments and attending futuristic events in order to spot trends, risks and opportunities ahead of time.

- Evaluate New Opportunities (organic and inorganic), draw up feasibility plans and provide decision support analyses.

- Pursue M&A opportunities along with house-banker and M&A team to fuel inorganic growth in the enterprise.

- Create and closely monitor the Strategy Execution Plan and provide support in Strategic areas (viz.HR initiatives, M&A Integration, New Product Development etc.) to MANCOM, BUs and Functions

- Ensure tight linkage of the Long Term Strategy Planning Process and short term AOP process to ensure alignment and execution of strategy. Collaborate in the Goal Cascade and Scorecard process to ensure tight performance management of strategic and tactical goals.

Competencies

Functional

- Strategy Planning, Business & Financial Planning, Business Analysis, M&A, Investment Evaluation

- MS XL Modeling skills, PowerPoint skills, working in a semi /automated work environment (SAP, SFDC, HRMS etc.)

Leadership - Competencies identified by KPMG for Strategy function

Level and Experience - Working level, individual contributor, 10-12 years work ex

Qualification - MBA must (preferably from premier institute IIM, XLRI, SPJAIN, ISB etc.)

Preferred Industry Domains - Consulting, ITeS, BFSI

Reporting To - EVP & Head - Strategy
