Writer Corporation - Manager/Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (8-11 yrs)
Job Objective:
The role is responsible for the annual budgeting process through budget modeling, establishing SOP's and analyzing the consolidated financial statements for actual / forecast budgets and strategic planning.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the Budget Modeling and Analytics in consultation with the Group CFO
- Perform calculation, validation and submission of Expense Forecast. Implement control measures for budget v/s actual, as instructed
- Proactively identify and analyze risks and uncertainties that may impact Group budget and financial statement. Identify, facilitate and implement process improvement ideas to improve efficiency & gain productivity
- Perform Variance Analysis: Analyzing and Explaining key movements and trends in P&L and Revenue - QQ / YoY and Revenue Tracking based on BU, Product, Region, International
- Obtain / provide explanations for the variances in the deviation report from respective head and documents the same in the report in case of variances
- Submit periodic budget status report to the Group CFO for review to determine action to be taken to reduce variances
- Consider the budgeted financial inflows and outflows, collate the details and prepare the consolidated budget considering the actual spend during the year
- Prepare/consolidate periodical financial reports for business leaders review with key highlights / comments, consistently improve MIS reporting to enhance senior management decision making
- Conform and comply with corporate financial policies and local statutory requirements
- Ensure that all the expenditure approvals have been obtained as per the protocol and approved plan, in case of un-budgeted or over-budgeted expenditures
QUALIFICATION
- Chartered Accountant (preferably). Other qualifications such as Cost Accountant, MBA
EXPERIENCE : 8 - 11 years of relevant experience
