Works-Head & Head-Operations for a very large manufacturing org in Gandhidham

Company Profile: Our client is a large, leading Indian Manufacturing organisation - Leaders in their field. Their products have a variety of end users in India and abroad. Our clients are looking for a Works-Head to be based at Gandhidham (Gujarat) and reporting to the MD. The plant has a total hedcount exceeding 1000# and is ISO certified. We have the following vacancy:

Works-Head: To partner with the Leadership team for effectively delivering results through people strategy. Closely coordinating with all key stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient deliverables and performance levels. Will have all departmental Heads ( Production, Production, Packaging, Logistics, Engineering, EHS, Business Excellence, Stores) reporting into the position.

KRAs:

1.Develop and manage the strategies, plans and budgets as agreed to achieve the organizational and financial objectives of the company

2.To ensure good people management practices in line with the Company's strategic HR policies

3.Ensure that the key roles are staffed with people who can effectively undertake their roles in the business and that the roles are clearly defined and understood and all personnel are motivated and developed to achieve the business objectives.

4.Provide a customer focused approach throughout the Company; building and maintaining the contacts necessary for the future development of the business, proactively promoting the Company

5.Effectively manage manpower planning, production planning, stock management, instrumentation calibration, plant modifications and develop innovative systems and processes utilizing all available technologies.

6.To realize the quality and safety Policy of the company in the Plant.

7.Planning, Organizing and managing the technical and economical aspects of the Plant.

8. To manage through the designated officials and the workforce in the Plant and achieve optimum utilization of all resources and the highest standards of safety.

9. Act as the face of the organization to external parties and customers.

10.To act as the Factory Manager of the Plant under the Factories Act.

11. To comply with all the statutory requirements with respect to Excise, Labor, ESIC, PF and Factories act and to co-ordinate with respective agencies

- Candidate Profile: Engineer with relevant 15+ years of experience in manufacturing organisations of which the recent few years must be in a Leadership Role-leading a large team in organisations with turnover exceeding Rs.500 crores per year
