Role:
Business Analyst (Growth)
What will this role do?
WorkIndia is in a phase of Hyper-Growth. We've achieved Product-market fit, and proven our Revenue Model & Unit Economics. Now, we intend to scale up User acquisition on both sides of the marketplace like crazy & capture the market.
Your responsibilities in this role will be:
- Work with the Growth team closely, analyze data and come with up actionable insights that unlock the next level of growth.
- Generate inferences, solve key business problems and provide meaningful insights by analyzing complex data sets.
- Be the owner of the Growth metrics along with the Growth Manager.
- Measure the impact of new strategies and initiatives by evaluating success & check metrics.
- Perform deep and meaningful root-cause analysis (RCA) when there are major variances in metrics from benchmarks.
- Define and run the A/B test experiments.
- Help in brainstorming and evaluating new ideas for future growth by doing exploratory data analysis and validating hypotheses.
- Facilitate monthly and quarterly planning processes by evaluating benchmarks, estimating the impact of initiatives, and making future projections.
- Analyze Funnel, Cohort, Trends, LTV, DAU, MAU, Retention & user behavior using data & help the growth managers to take data-driven decisions.
What will success look like in the next 6 months:
- Your data analysis and insights have helped achieve 2x+ growth in key business metrics.
- You have set up dashboards & automation which streamline future analysis & actions.
The Ideal Profile for this role:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Growth / Acquisition / Marketing / Business Analyst Roles in a high-growth startup.
- BE/B.Tech / MBA background from a premier institute would be preferred.
- Prior experience in Ola, OYO, Flipkart, Amazon, Pharmeasy, 1MG, BigBasket, Cars24, NoBroker, My Gate, Licious, Zolo Stays, ZoomCar, Dunzo, Clear Tax, Swiggy, and Myntra would be a big plus.
- Should be ready to relocate to Bangalore. This is a work-from-office job, hence presence in Bangalore would be mandatory.
Skill-sets required for this Role -
- Strong data analytical skills, ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem solve by looking at L3-L4 level data.
- Advanced skills set in SQL Queries, Tableau, Metabase, and MS Excel.
- A prior understanding of how the Marketing and User Acquisition funnel works would be a big plus.
- Prior experience with running ML models (Regression, decision tree, etc) is definitely a plus.
- Entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset. Strong sense of urgency, a bias for action and ownership.
- A highly positive growth mindset, always forward-looking and seeking solutions in the face of challenges.
- A good business understanding, first principles, and common sense thinking.
- Ability to challenge members of your team & others to innovate and to think boldly & creatively.
