Workday Finance Consultant

Experience: 2-5 Years

Job Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Must haves: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Workday Consultant

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Support maintenance of Workday Financials configuration, including setup and functional configuration. Experience required in multiple modules (Financial Accounting, Projects, AP/AR, Procurement and Assets) and functions (business process, custom validations, calculated fields and EIBs)

- Work with subject matter experts to gather requirements for, create, and maintain data and configuration changes to meet business needs

- Manage support requests, determine root causes, and develop solutions to address while keeping in compliance with documentation procedures

- Support Workday Release activities to take advantage of latest functionality

- Design and develop custom reports as requested by the business

- Configure, administer & audit security in compliance with policies and procedures

- Leverage business knowledge to identify opportunities for process improvements

- Assist with M&A related projects such as creating FDM objects and data conversion

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or other related field or equivalent experience

- At least 2 year of Workday FIN configuration experience with working knowledge of custom validations, posting rules, FDM worktags, and finance related integrations

- Experience on at least one full life cycle Workday FIN implementation and M&A related activities including data conversion and validation preferred

- Understanding of Finance processes, procedures, and best practices across multiple functional areas including Financial Accounting, Procurement, AP, AR, Projects, and Assets

- Ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences, identifying and articulating user pain points and resolutions

- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion when working with confidential data

- Strong work ethic with a mature and positive attitude
