Job Responsibilities

- The incumbent would be responsible for the marketing department of the Company that comprises of a team of 18 team members

- The CMO would be responsible for the marketing strategy of the organisation which relies heavily on Product Management, Brand Management, New Product Insights, Competition Mapping, Sales Data Analysis and Category Specific Tactics

- Wonderchef operates with multiple sales channels including Modern Retail, General Trade, Direct Marketing, Television Shopping network, Ecommerce, Corporate Gifting and Exclusive Brand Outlets. The CMO would conceptualize the marketing support needed for each channel and execute the same. The CMO would also lead the charge for the International expansion of the brand.

- The CMO would be responsible for all creative inputs for the design elements and branding for the marketing, packaging and BTL activities.

- The CMO would also be leading the Digital Marketing team responsible for branding as well as the sales through Wonderchef website of the company. Monitoring Digital strategy and spends is also a key responsibility.

- BTL activities, dealer meets, new projects, exhibitions, etc. would be under the purview of the CMO supported by marketing executives in each region.

- The CMO would manage the marketing budget of the company and work towards the achievement of organizational targets with the defined budgets

- Develop and maintain detailed plans for key campaign programs, reporting dashboards, documentation, and tracking.

- Would be In-charge of identifying and electing, best-suited vendors and managing vendor relationships

- Regularly conduct relevant Market Research to monitor trends and consumer perception. Market visits with various channels for personal learning and exposure is a critical process

- Management and leveraging of Social Media, PR and online reputation management of the Brand

- Manage PR with the agency and create regular buzz around the brand

Skill Set Essentials:

- Basics: Must be an Engineer from one of the top rated Engineering institutes with an MBA from a top B School.

- Experience (type of): 7-10 years. Should be from an FMCG or Durables Company of Pedigree - companies like Marico and Asian Paints, Philips, etc.

 Specialized Knowledge:

- The incumbent must have experience with Brand and Product Management, BTL activity, Data Analysis and exposure to Digital Marketing and E Commerce activities.

- The incumbent should be passionate and excited about his profession, bright, flexible, intelligent in working, seized with a sense of challenge, curious about finding solutions, solid in marketing fundamentals, well groomed in marketing practice, team leader.

- The incumbent should have a good blend of Classical Marketing & Digital Marketing experience.
