KRITI SHARMA, ASSISTANT MANAGER - OPS

Qualification:

Newly or nearly qualified Actuary from Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI)/ Society of Actuaries, US (SOA) / Institute & Faculty of Actuaries, UK (IFoA)

Experience/Knowledge:

- 6-8 years of experience in GI actuarial in the reserving and/or pricing areas

- Strong domain expertise in insurance, reserving and modeling

- Strong understanding of various product features and lines of business

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and conceptualize solutions

- Owns and leads project delivery

- Collate internal and external management Information

- Set assumptions with justifications

- Able to interpret results from various financial models and provides explanations

- Reviews outputs prepared by the team and adds business rationale; sign off of results. Supervise junior actuaries.

Additional Expertise - 

Additionally having practically worked at least for 3-5 years in GI - claims/ reserving environment; advanced Excel/VBA scripts, SAS, Res-Q (Pro), R, Python/ other programming languages like C, C++, will be required to deliver the technical claims analysis and reporting; Add consulting based & pro-active communication skill-sets;
