Within CBU, the Retail, Distribution & Transportation (RDAT) vertical focuses on Business & IT engagements for top Transportation clients around the world covering areas like Parcel Logistics, Freight Forwarding, 3PL, Trucking and Supply Chain. Job Summary : - The role holder should be an expert in best practices in Transportation and should be able to build the end-to-end capability of Transportation Vertical. The role holder should focus on building new business and engaging with clients to grow the existing business. - Candidate should be able to develop and drive the Center of excellence and should be able to lead and execute new and existing engagements, also work closely with the center of excellence to help enhance the service offerings to our clients. Responsibilities : Core responsibilities will include : Growth : To build a Supply Chain business growth strategy based on the core strengths. Work with multiple teams and accounts to build new business opportunities and new business wins. Competency Development : Define a core competency capability building strategy for Supply Chain & Distribution. Build comprehensive training assets for lateral consultants. Manage geo-distributed consulting professionals across various experience levels, mentoring, career planning. Build reusable process assets to showcase domain capability in the area of Supply Chain. Partnerships : Nurture key partnerships based on product/service capabilities, future road maps and alignment with our client needs, with the objective of building knowledge and networks e.g. Product Companies, practitioner forums, logistics industry networks etc. Branding : Create a strong Wipro Market Positioning by publishing Point of views, writing white papers, represent Wipro in Conferences Qualifications Required : - 15-18 years of experience in Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding and Parcel Logistics in Transportation industry and / or worked as a consultant to the industry in the Supply Chain or Freight Forwarding or Logistics space - Must have a good breadth of domain expertise in evolving Supply Chain space encompassing Warehousing & Distribution, Transport Planning & Execution or Freight forwarding space encompassing import, export and customs. - Experience in a Tier 1 Transportation/Supply Chain-specific consulting firm as a Principal, Associate Partner, Partner or similar level - Experience in working in a matrix environment and working collaboratively with service lines - Experience in Supply Chain & Distribution specific consulting firms as Consultant or a Lead - Knowledge of any best of breed product suite like Manhattan, JDA/Red-Prairie, Infor, High-Jump etc. - Experienced in working on SCM packages of ERP solution like SAP, Oracle Retail, JDA etc. - Ability to directly interact and deliver consulting projects at CxO level - Delivery and sales experience in a consulting and/or Global IT Services organization Other qualifications for differentiation : - Global perspective and knowledge of business and technology trends in Transportation & Supply Chain - Experience base to include process consulting, product management, implementation, testing and support Key factors : - Varied Process understanding is necessary. - High exposure opportunity for right candidate - Must be willing to travel locally and internationally
