Wipro - Solution Architect - DevOps

This position requires an accomplished, strategic, hands-on Consulting and Thought Leader, with a record of accomplishment of outstanding Solution Architecture experience. The DevOps Solution Architect brings in-depth technical comprehension of current and emerging DevOps technologies, combined with knowledge of how to apply these insights in dynamic and competitive industry environments. Additionally, the successful candidate will have:

- Deep Understanding of Service Integration principles, business drivers and emerging computing trends. Exposure to cloud Technologies is desirable.

- The job position will be responsible for providing high-quality DevOps solutions on time by working in an organized manner with a cross-functional team of technical specialists, CoEs.

- Work collaboratively with onshore team, at times taking leadership and at times in supporting roles depending upon the bid situation.

- Able to participate in requirements gathering, gathering data requirements, and assisting in the reconciliation of technical requirements from Enterprise architecture perspective.

- Deep Technical knowledge in architecting, designing, and Integrating new Solutions in a large scale enterprise of highly distributed applications (i.e., having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.,)

- The complete cycle from initiation to decision would include understanding customer requirements, clarifications, technical solution design, pricing, risk identification & mitigation, presentation and decision.

- Ability to create POV for a customer scenario considering all aspects of the solution like Infrastructure, Application Footprint and provide best direction to the customer to drive lower TCO, enhance organization agility and enhancing customer's revenue enablement journey

- Hands-on experience of working with DevOps platform and should be able to articulate to CXO level leadership

Skills/Experience required:

- Minimum 12 years of total experience. Exp on DevOps based solution definitions.

Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices

Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration-Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) /DevOps concept and tools

Experience of managing teams and project management including progress monitoring and reporting

Strong technical foundation in (most of the following tools):

Agile Tools (Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.)

Linux and/or Windows Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, Virtual Box, etc.)

Cloud Computing (AWS, Google App Engine, Rackspace Cloud, etc.)

Infrastructure Automation (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.)

Build Tools (Ant, NAnt, MSBuild, Rake, GNU Make, etc.)

Continuous Integration Tools (Jenkins, Cruise, TeamCity, Hudson, etc.) (SCM Tools (SVN, Git, Perforce, Mercurial, etc.)

Scripting Languages (Shell, Ruby/JRuby, Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
