Wipro's finance team is spread across globally and cuts across traditional core finance functions such as treasury, taxation, audit and controllership as well as commercial roles such as business finance, financial planning, pricing, contracting etc.The finance structure in Wipro augments evolving role of finance in an organization both as a controller and a business partner or a co-pilot.

Role Description Includes :

- Handle the financed part of Central procurement function in Wipro handling transactions worth around USD 1 Billion per annum

- Closely monitor & ensure procurement related controls are implemented

- Support the procurement function to achieve savings & other qualitative targets.

- Keep track of budget & ensure the spends are in line with budget

- Take part in vendor negotiations to get optimum pricing.

- Prepare periodical MIS on various parameters & adhoc reports as required

- Participate in investigations & audits as warranted

- Ensure compliance to internal processes & statutory requirements.

- Optimise on taxation and other accounting considerations.

You should possess the following skills :

- Hands-on knowledge in handling procurement in IT / ITES / Manufacturing industry.

- Knowledge on basic finance & accounting concepts, especially on Project cost booking & Fixed Assets Capitalization and depreciation.

- Working Knowledge of MS office tools & SAP.

- Analysis of various investment plans, Computing ROI etc.

- Capable of performing Analytic reviews and analysis on variance Vs budgets.
