Job Description :

- We are looking for an experienced Cloud Devops Architect with 8-12 years of experience in designing / developing / administering / monitoring cloud services. The role will involve presales, competency enablement, pre sales.

- The candidate should be technically hands on current technology platform

Responsibilities:

- Grow cloud footprint in Wipro by enabling and enriching Wipro and Wipro's customers with AWS value propositions.

- Participate Solutioning and bidding for AWS related opportunities.

- Providing the thought leadership to solve the organizational challenges in DevOps thereby improving operational efficiency

- Setup backups/replications/archiving, implement disaster recovery

- Automate DB and server maintenance activities

- Assist development team with Schema Design, Indexing Strategy for performance and scalability

- Manage patches/software upgrades for various flavours of Linux

- Installation and maintenance of reverse proxy like Nginx/Apache and their configuration

- Contributes to various intellectual property development and leadership initiatives of the company

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience in AWS/Azure/Bluemix/Google. Certification is mandatory to professional level.

- Strong in one programming language compatible to AWS/Azure/Bluemix/Google.

- Experience with the CI/CD, automation and monitoring processes of large scale infra

- Hands on experience with one of Ansible/Puppet/Chef or any other devops automation tool Performed at least 2+ projects in cloud platform

- Knowledge of Unix internals, Disk IO statistics, CPU load averages, memory management

- Deep knowledge in system performance and analysing root cause

- Strong grasp of bash/shell scripting and languages like Perl or Python is required

- System sizing, Capacity Planning

- Strong understanding of multi-AZ deployment, H-A services, rolling deployments

- Lead the maintenance of Postgres/MySQL/MongoDB /Hadoop in a highly available architecture hosted on AWS server

- Microservice deployment experience - Docker, Clustering, Virtualization, Zookeeper

- Experience in security infrastructure/vulnerabilities

- Experience in monitoring software like Ganglia/Nagios/Zabbix

- Experience in different file systems and their internals

- Capability to handle a team of Devops engineers

- Capability to analyse costs for entire infrastructure

Additional Skills and Experience:

- Experience with Microservices management tools - Kubernetes/ Marathon/ Mesos/ Terraform

- Experience in handling Linux/Windows Systems.

- Awareness of DBA roles and responsibilities.

- Extensive client (Up to CXO level) handling expertise with experience of frequent travel.

- Strong presentation and communication skill.

- Strong business acumen & current industry trend.
