Job Profile - Procurement & Planning

Job Requirements:

- Graduate in Engineering in Civil / Construction with minimum 10 years experience in Material Planning and Procurement for civil construction industry.

- Decision making ability and experience in day to day supply chain activities.

- Team Leader, flexible with time, ability to handle stress and work in fast paced environment.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and SAP MM Module.

- Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Fluent in English and Hindi.

Job Responsibilities:

- Stringent material planning according to project activities aligned by Corporate. Working knowledge of MRP system.

- Taking cautious decision for usage of sources available or development of additional sources.

- Identification of construction material sources and conducts due diligence of identified sources.

- Budget preparation for entire year of purchase value considering dynamic plan from Corporate.

- Costing and price comparison of raw materials and components. Negotiations with suppliers with intention to provide value for money.

- Follow departmental policies and information system procedures in SAP for planning, procurement, quality, etc.

- Ensuring proper documentation as per IS 9001 quality norms.

- Ensure time management for entire procurement procedure in respect to other related activities by internal customer.

- Planning, Monitoring and assurance for payment for suppliers, contractors, etc.

- Anticipates and proactively elevates potential challenges/problems; Monitors and pro-actively takes actions in response to market fluctuations.

- Maintain continuous coordination with subordinates and superiors for effective information management.

- Complies with Code of Business Ethics and Conduct;

Competencies:

- Analytical skills with emphasis on price comparison, variance calculation

- Negotiations skills

- Profound Knowledge of the market and it's implications

- Understanding of various sourcing techniques and their implementation

- Develops relationship with and understand the needs of customers, internal and external

- Personal commitment and persistence in achieving results
