Wind World India - Head - Transmission

As a lead Transmission you shall be responsible for:

- Planning & execution of PAN India transmission lines (HV & EHV)

- Project Management

- Design, construction & execution of EHV transmission lines, towers & foundations

- Vendor Management

- Contract Management

- Procurement of Transmission related materials

Brief Job Description:

- Responsible for project planning, co-ordination, control and execution with cost and time monitoring.

- Tracking & Monitoring multiple transmission projects simultaneously from management's prospective (Cost, Schedule, Quality etc.)

- Co-ordinate with client for project execution.

- Coordination with site offices & stakeholders & cross - functional communication for effective monitoring of projects.

- Ensuring the completion of project work as per the contractual schedule, budget and timelines.

- Implements systems to comply with Health & Safety Regulations and ensure accident free sites.

- To assist in ensuring timely and accurate collection, updation etc of all project related documents including those for project closure

- To ensure planning and execution of the project as per the schedule & maintaining Technical Data at site & Maintaining FQP.

- To review bid documents efficiently on the given parameters & recommend with detailed justification.

- To evaluate various procurement proposals for transmission related materials & services.

- To ensure preparation and submission of all necessary contract closure documents including As built drawings for handing over.

- To ensure statutory clearance required and coordination with Third Party Inspection agency (TPI) for technical audit of project

- To ensure day to day activities at site with site supervisors/contractors, monitoring the progress, material and manpower arrangement and management & Maintaining Daily/Weekly Progress Report.
