Job Profile:

- Institutional Equity Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales from institutional investors, domestic and foreign for William O Neil's Institutional Product - PANARAY and Broker Development for MarketSmith India, SWINGTrader India and Algosmith Products.

- The job involves selling the institutional research platform PANARAY to professional, experienced investors & other corporate and also enrolling domestic brokers as Re-Sellers for MarketSmith India product or integrating MarketSmith India in their trading platform or Broker Apps.

- Near-term focus will be to identify and develop institutional clients / Fund Houses / Portfolio Manager seeking access to our extensive archive of research and analytical materials to support their investment decisions and enhance their ability to successfully and consistently manage their client portfolios to deliver superior returns.

- Significant experience in financial services/intellectual product sales with a documented record of success, an active client base and good corporate contacts.

- Candidates need to be able to identify substantial leads, develop relationships and successfully deliver sales in a demanding environment where they will regularly interact with professional investment advisors, fund managers and private equity investors.

- Potential sales managers/heads require confidence, savvy and intimate knowledge of the financial services industry and related products and services. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

- Additionally, candidates need to be highly self-motivated, disciplined and creative with a very strong entrepreneurial spirit, integrity and responsiveness to client needs.

Will be Responsible for:

- To identify, impanel and nurture deep relationships with Institutional Investors like FIIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, Domestic Brokerages, Portfolio Managers and other similar investors.

- Understand Equity Research and communicate underlying themes and investment ideas, to clients.

- Build effective relationships with institutional investors and domestic brokers to enable interaction between them and the Research Analysts.

- Pitch and discuss stock ideas with Portfolio managers regularly.

- Lead the institutional sales effort.

Key Deliverable :

- Meet & exceed business targets in terms of volume of business generated, the profitability of the business and number of institutional clients enrolled. In addition, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new customers will be a key indicator of future success expectations;

- Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level

- Ensure Servicing of the Institutional Customers within agreed norms and service levels

- Ensuring customer satisfaction is met for all client relationships

- Timely and accurate MIS reporting to all concerned.

- Ensure cost of acquisition of the relationships is well within budgeted costs

- Generating investment ideas and working closely with Research to improve product offerings

- Develop close relationships with CIO / important fund managers across various clients

Work Experience :

- 5 - 7 years experience in a similar organization having clients from India region

- Prefer people from BFSI and Tech Sales background

Specific knowledge requirement

- Deep Knowledge of Capital Markets mandatory

- Strong relationships with key global financial advisors, Fund Houses and Domestic Brokers.

- Excellent understanding of financial markets.

- Enthusiastic and a Team player.

- Positive approach

- Interpersonal Skills

Specific Competency requirement :

- Ability to interpret research insights and communicate effectively to clients

- Ability to understand client requirements and provide appropriate products and service

The Successful Candidate - You will have an MBA/MS from Tier 1 institutes in India or globally and have atleast 4 - 5 years of Institutional Equity Sales / B2B sales experience in Indian stock markets covering domestic and international institutional clients while working in a domestic brokerage/booking desk of MNC bank.
