Wildcraft - Regional Manager - Retail Sales (4-6 yrs)

Role : Regional Retail Manager (RSOM)
Reports To : Retail Head
Individual Contributory Role : No
Supervisory Role : Yes
Direct Reportees : Area Managers
Description of the role :
This position is the leader of the Retail Sales Team of a geography - four Southern states based out of Bengaluru. Accountable for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the field Area Managers while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Region.
Duties and responsibilities :
Retail Operations :
1. Managing retail day to day operations in the region along with Area managers
2. VM - Adherence of weekly Lookbook, VM SOP discipline, VM training
3. New Product launches with promotional activities across key markets
4. Managing internal and external Audits
5. Planning and executing regional business intervention calendar
6. Must have experience of handling atleast 50 stores in 4 Southern states with 100 to 125 staff
Sales & Profitability :
1. Driving revenue & profitability for primary and secondary channel (Sales planning, SSG, Target, business review)
2. Understand and analyze competitors, market trends and general conditions that will affect the business over the short and long term
Customer experience :
1) Driving brand experience to drive customer delight at our Brand Stores
2) Be responsible to drive customer engagement programmes
3) Handle customer grievance and service requests to closure
New Business Development :
- Maximizing new business development opportunities by identifying potential market gaps, market study of the right catchment, developing network by liaisoning with available sources including identifying, locating and proposing potential sites, negotiating with owners, finalize and ensure site's availability for timely opening as per business plan. Providing end-to-end support and coordination for new store opening.
- People management Recruitment, Biometric, Performance review, HR related issues, Training
- Guide and direct training efforts that bring value to the business through better sales efficiency
Relationship Management :
1. Developing relationship with the mall management to ensure smooth operation
2. Managing relationship with the Franchisee partner
Qualification and Experience :
- Post Graduate Management degree with a specialization in Sales & Marketing from a premier institute.
- The desired candidate should have 4-6 years of relevant experience of managing consumer channel sales.
- He/she should be currently managing a regional role/next in line for regional role with 50cr+ (in Durables) / 100cr+ (in FMCG) of annual revenue.
- Experience in Retail channel is mandatory
