Responsibility - Manage and grow financial operations of our card processing, risk and fraud management, and customer success divisions of the company - Build the center of excellence in large and very large-scale transaction processing - Establish processes, security frameworks, industry practices, and ensure compliance across all operations and services Card industry experience is a must, and the candidate must have a sound understanding of authorization, settlement, chargeback and recon processes specific to payment card industry. - Manage and improve the day to day operational processes and service level commitments - Contribute to the planning and development of the company as a member of the senior leadership in the company - Take ownership for strategic planning for future growth, formulating policies and practices to ensure growth and scalability with no disruption to daily operations - Take responsibility for 24x7, high available environment, ensuring that it meets and exceeds customer SLAs - Continuously improve operational efficiencies, drive automation, and zero error rate practices - Debit, credit, or prepaid card processing background a must - Payment Gateway transaction and settlement processing a plus - Must have managed large scale operations in the retail banking space - FinTech experience a plus - Must have provided business requirements for building or enhancements of operational systems and reports - Ensure compliance with service standards and guidelines as per banks- & ITIL best practices. - Establish operational governance, best practices for operations & documentation that serve as benchmarks for excellent service - As the head of the division, provide guidance and take responsibility for development of operational personnel Experience - 15 + years of experience, out of which minimum 10 years of experience in managing financial operations in a fintech or bank in a 24 x 7, high volume environment - Financial systems, payment systems, or banking industry operational experience is a must - Should have risen through the ranks, gaining qualifications as well as front-line experience Education - BE / Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business-related subject. MBA a plus. - A strong capability in analytical thinking, verbal and written communications a must
