Whirlpool - Category Manager - Marketing (4-7 yrs)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for delivery of Category P&L
- Accountable for driving category sales and support sales channels through execution of advertising, promotion and branding activities
- Responsible for market size estimation, identifying market trends and shifts in consumer preferences and pricing decisions pertaining to the category
- Responsible for tracking and mitigating competition actions
- Responsible for driving various planning cycles (eg, long range plan, profit plan, operating plan) for product categories.
- Responsible for supporting product design process, mining of consumer relevant innovation and maintaining the health of product portfolio
- Responsible for New Product Development, Launch and Project Management
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with platform teams, design, procurement and supply chain team towards product development
- Collaborate with Sales Channel Heads and Regional Sales Managers to identify portfolio gaps and execute tactical interventions
