We at Wherehouse building our last mile operations and need someone to lead the vertical.

As a logistics manager you will have following responsibilities :

1. Find and onboard vehicles and vendors for last mile deliveries from our Wherehouses

2. Handling all logistics arrangements like Load planning and vehicle deployment by co-ordinating with the operations & sales team for Pan India Locations.

3. Coordination with logistics partners for timely pickup and delivery of the shipments .

4. Finding the new vendors from the marketplace's & 3PL partners for timely deliveries of the shipments and cost reduction in transportation.

5. Handling warehouse team and checking daily report of their assigned works.

6. Coordinating with finance team for timely payments of vendors and monthly salary of casual labors and field executive's of the warehouse.

7. Hiring packers for products consolidation whenever required and performing inventory inspection, Pre-dispatch QC inspection

Requirements :

1. Previous experience of last mile design at a growth stage startup

2. The ideal candidate has superb written and verbal communication and customer-relationship skills, and is a passionate advocate for our customers.

3. He/She can work and lead on the ground and build the next team.

4. Proven work experience of 3+ years in operations roles in logistics, delivery and/or mobility sector is preferred.
