Wheelsonair Technologies - Chief Vendor Officer - IIM/ISB/IIT

Wheelsonair marketplace for personal transport requirements with current thrust on - self-drive (drive on your own) cars and bikes. We connect customers who want to rent bikes and cars for self-drive to the vendors who are supplying the same. This is a disruptive business model and has a potential to become a unicorn (billion dollar) company in the next few years. We are trying to address the one of the most perennial problem being faced by the common man in India i.e. low car ownership. Our research shows that the number of people needing cars will increase at a rapid pace but the ability of a common man to buy car will not keep up the pace and hence there will be a huge demand for on-demand car rentals, and this is the gap we are trying to bridge.

Currently we are a small team of four but there is a huge potential for aggressive expansion, and we are looking for entrepreneurial people with fire in the belly to make it big in life and solve people's problems.

What we are looking for :

- We are looking for a CXO level person who will join us as a Head of Vendor Development and Management. We are looking to grow the team and want to include other fellow entrepreneurs as we build the brand.

- Compensation - This position has no compensation. Since the role is for a cofounder position, a sizable equity chunk would be allocated to the candidate depending on what he/she brings to the table.

- This is a CXO level position and hence, we expect applicants to be adept in Vendor development, management and vendor related operations.

Preference would be given to candidates who have hands-on experience in :

- Developing vendors

- On-boarding vendors on company systems

- Creating lasting relationships with vendors

- Creating positive image of the company

- Liaising with employees of the vendor company

The Candidate must be an alumnus of IIT, IIM, ISB or Top B Schools from India or abroad with 3-7 years of work experience but more importantly we need someone who is self motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit. Also, would be great to have someone with prior work experience in a startup.
