About the Role -
WeWork is seeking a Product Sourcing Specialist. The position is responsible for driving the Sourcing execution of new projects from deal signing through implementation. We are looking for highly organized and detail-oriented individuals who can manage overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines and budgets, and efficiently use their time. Candidates must have strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. In order to achieve success, a Product Sourcing Specialist must take initiative and be able to manage flow of inventory from vendors and analyze the metrics of deal.
Responsibilities -
- Understanding of product development process from concept through prototyping
- Manage vendor relationships through professional communication, execute accurate purchase order placement, and ensure all vendor contracts and pricing are maintained in a WeWork Database.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure our deals are being accurately implemented
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Track Volume orders and trigger low volume notifications to relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and drive process improvements
Qualifications -
- Bachelor's/PG degree required, preferably in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or business related field.
- Must have very strong understanding and working knowledge of Excel, Airtable spreadsheet and similar database environments.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in product development, manufacturing quality supervision, prototyping and re-versioning a design
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
- Experience in negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
