The Opportunity : Senior Associate, Technology Project Management

- As a Senior Associate, Technology Project Management you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and delivering global technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities :

- Determine overall technology project milestones and work with all stakeholders to monitor progress

- Ensure project documentation and deliverables adhere to company policies and standards

- Manage all technology resources and work streams within the project, including third party strategic partnerships

- Provide updates and reporting to stakeholders on overall technology performance metrics, project status and quarterly resource planning reviews

- Develop and manage the technology project budget and reporting, including project capitalization reviews

- Collaborate with program sponsor and stakeholder to ensure continuous alignment on program deliverables and overall technology solution

- Develop technology implementation plans across the organization to ensure seamless delivery of project into production

- Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure

- Provide coaching to Junior Associates and Associates

- Works independently on complex projects

- Ensure all technology application development process disciplines (solution delivery, project management, work requests, QA, etc.) are followed, effectively managed and performed

What we require:

- B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required

- 4-5 years of project management experience

- Experience managing technology programs or projects; effectively managing multiple work streams

- Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industry

- Practical knowledge of SDLC and ITIL processes; experience managing projects using Agile and Waterfall project methodology

- PMI/PMP and Scrum certification preferred

- Advanced knowledge of and successful demonstrated experience in all aspects of technology project management, including defining scope, schedules, budgets, priorities, milestones; schedule baselines; reporting cost and schedule variance; and managing change control and risk

- Strong business communication skills, comfort in working with developers, ability to own an issue from creation through resolution, status reporting on issues and change requests are required

- Prior experience working with onshore and offshore team, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams

- Demonstrated experience providing overall management of a moderately large and/or complex technical project

- Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies

- Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment

- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

- Display business acumen in reviewing and understanding the business requirements as well as the technology requirements

- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
