- As a Senior Associate, Technology Process Management you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, executing, measuring and monitoring internal technology processes.
Key responsibilities :
- Evaluate, design, document and manage all internal technology, e.g. System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), standards and processes
- Proactively identifies, implements and manages process improvements and agile solutions within functional area.
- Ensure all technology application development process disciplines and standards are established, effectively managed and performed across the technology organization
- Communicate SDLC requirements across organization
- Responsible for updating and partnering with applicable teams to ensure procedures, templates, processes, etc. are continually updated to meet existing business needs
- Ensure project documentation and deliverables adhere to company policies and standards
- Develop internal controls and governance of SDLC standards by partnering with Technology PMO
- Audit project documentation and participate in checkpoint and milestone discussions
- Assist and define requirements for project management tools, project budgeting, etc.
- Participate in leading capacity planning efforts across the technology organization
- Must partner with onshore teams and work overlapped hours to accommodate business needs
- Provide coaching to Junior Associates and Associates
- Works independently on complex projects
What we require :
- Bachelor's degree in IT or Business and/or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred.
- 4-5 years of IT PMO, Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience
- Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industry
- Practical knowledge of SDLC; familiarity and experience with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies
- PMP, Scrum, CBAP certification preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend sound conclusions and implementation strategies
- Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Prior experience working with onshore and offshore team, including working overlapping business hours to partner with onshore teams
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
- Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude
