Job Summary :

To lead the understanding, gathering, researching, solutions and documenting stakeholder needs in an internal consultant role. This will occur by leading and coordinating the collection and verification of customer and business needs, documenting and organizing the requirements for the project team, and communicating requirements in standardized formats. Evaluation of business strategy, high-level scope, dependencies, and investments will need to be identified and documented. This position will be critical to the project team and work with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project initiation and subsequent delivery. Documentation management is an essential part of this position for successful projects in the future.

Job Description :

- Validate business requirements for feasibility, articulation, comprehensiveness, and clarity.

- Provide product-related communication and sales support on current and planned IT deliveries for WU internal purposes and with Western Union's Business Partners

- Lead the coordination of business and IT project initiation activities including soliciting requirement clarification driven from multiple business units and IT organizations.

- Facilitate the development of the solution options through coordinating a complex, matrixed IT organization

- Assist in the intake and coordination of new project requests with a focus on timely engagement and responses to business requests.

- Serve as subject matter expert focused on a single or multiple Western Union products during the initiation phase of initiatives requiring IT systems investments.

- Facilitate the high-level estimating of new initiatives.

- Provide expert guidance and direction to project team members.

- Develop innovative solutions for complex business problems.

- Retain visibility through completion of projects with a focus on maintaining expertise and knowledge of product direction and solution architectures.

- Development of detailed business requirements and functional requirements. Responsible for the translation of the Business Requirements into succinct clear Requirements with defined ranges to be used by Development.

- Partner with required business and IT teams to develop, document and deliver detailed user experience requirements to support business and systems requirements.

- Work with clients and cross-functional teams on critical initiatives impacting projects and ability to deliver. Provide overall project management skills for responsibilities.

- Knowledgeable in setting structure, standardization, and maintenance of requirements documentation for business and systems teams.

- Support systems integration project life-cycle.

- Evaluating and defining efficient business processes development and improvement. Ability to isolate and understand quickly business challenges and deliver recommendations.

- Develop and maintain relationships with team members working projects.

- Responsible for the completion of projects within specified time and budget dealing with financials, project workflow, change management and dealing with vendor relationships.

- Work with application development team to identify bottlenecks that could hinder the progress of development.
