Job Description- Area Sales Manager

Job Profile:

- The Area Sales Manager would be directly responsible to grow the sales of products and services in the assigned geographic territory through identifying opportunities early in the sales cycle to maximise the sales revenue for the company.

- The Area Sales Manager will also focus on prospecting and developing new accounts and expanding business with the current accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for growth of business by effectively managing and developing customer and channel partner relationships and thus increase sales from the customers

- Responsible to grow & drive business in the assigned area

- Develop strategies and implement plans to grow profitable sales

- To keep account receivables under control

- Works closely with the sales coordinator /product team/ supply team to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution

- Responsible for preparation of sales forecasts, effective trend analysis and drive achievement

- Follow up diligently on leads received from other areas/divisions of the organization

Key Skills & Qualification:

- A Graduate/PG in any discipline

- Minimum 3 years of successful diagnostic products sales or related experience

- Detailed knowledge of company's products to carry out demos

- Persuasion skills to be able to convince clients to purchase goods

- Negotiation skills to create the most profitable deals

- Effective communication skills

- Microsoft Office Suite applications
