Job Description
- Chartered Accountant / Lawyer having minimum 3-4 years experience in the field of advising clients on succession planning of family businesses or M&A taxation or group restructuring
- The candidate shall report to the Head of Wealth Structuring and Tax in Private Wealth
- The Wealth Structuring and Tax team assists the Private Wealth clients of the company in planning for succession, restructuring their businesses and entities, tax advisory on stake sale/ acquisitions, etc. The client segment would include promoter families and large corporate relationships.
KRA:
Assisting in advising clients on wealth structuring, succession planning, asset transfers, acquisition and divestment advisory, and allied tax and regulatory matters
Research on taxation matters / regulatory matters on various issues
Keeping updated on the latest trends in family businesses and succession of these businesses
Making presentations for clients as well as internal circulation
Keeping updated on the latest tax and regulatory happenings
Desired Skill set:
Sound knowledge in Trusts, HUFs, LLPs, Companies, etc
Very good knowledge in income tax, SEBI, FEMA, FDI, Company law, etc
Good understanding of FEMA aspects, especially relevant to NRIs
Strong communication and inter personal skills
Attitude of learning more about the complex restructuring and succession planning structures, so you are up to date with opportunities for our clients
Industry expertise that ensures practical application of your knowledge .
