Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Wealth Manager to join our Private Banking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering holistic financial advice and wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). The Wealth Manager will develop deep client relationships, manage investment portfolios, and offer tailored strategies to help clients preserve and grow their wealth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned HNW/UHNW clients.
- Build, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships based on trust, integrity, and performance.
Financial Planning & Advisory:
- Understand each clients financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Provide customized advice on investment strategies, estate planning, tax optimization, retirement planning, and philanthropic giving.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and manage client portfolios in line with agreed objectives.
- Monitor market trends and proactively adjust asset allocations and product mixes.
- Collaborate with internal investment strategists and product teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities within the existing client base and prospect new HNW/UHNW clients.
- Participate in marketing and networking initiatives, including client events and seminars.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Perform due diligence and maintain accurate client documentation and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field (Masters or CFA preferred).
- Minimum 57 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory.
- Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships and delivering investment performance.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, portfolio theory, tax planning, and estate strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Regulatory licenses or certifications as required by jurisdiction (e.g., Series 7/66, SFC Type 4/9, etc.).
