About the Job;
- We are seeking a highly motivated Client Acquisition and Relationship Manager to join our team.
- The role involves acquiring new clients and managing existing ones with the primary objective of expanding our market presence.
- This includes increasing Assets Under Management (AUM) and market share.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for reactivating non-active clients and generating business opportunities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong external focus, particularly on High Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) and Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (Ultra HNI) customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Client Acquisition and Inactive Client Activation:
- Proactively acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Reactivate inactive clients (dead folio revivals) to rejuvenate their portfolios and generate new business.
Lead Conversion:
- Follow up on and convert leads provided by the Corporate Acquisition Team into active clients.
Client Management and AUM Growth:
- Build and manage relationships with existing clients to grow their AUM.
- Provide tailored investment solutions to meet clients' financial goals and objectives.
Client and Distribution Servicing:
- Offer comprehensive client servicing and support, ensuring smooth transaction handling for both new and existing clients.
- Actively engage in facilitating transactions and resolving client queries.
Long-Term Relationship Development:
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key distributors and potential partners to ensure repeat business and sustained growth.
Market Share Expansion:
- Expand market share by acquiring new clients and enhancing services to existing clients.
- Ensure effective servicing of clients to maintain and grow market presence.
Up-Selling and Cross-Selling:
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling across various asset classes to both corporate clients and their promoters.
Cross-Sell Initiatives:
- Drive cross-sell activities to increase product penetration within existing client portfolios.
Corporate Online Account Activation:
- Facilitate the activation of online accounts for corporate clients, ensuring they are set up efficiently and effectively.
Networking and Market Information:
- Actively network with clients, competitors, and distributors to gather valuable market insights and intelligence.
Product Information Dissemination:
- Provide timely and relevant product information to distributors to support their sales efforts.
Market Share Management:
- Monitor and manage market share across clients and distributors in line with organizational targets and requirements.
Compliance Adherence:
- Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory compliance norms in all client interactions and transactions.
Joint Investor Meetings:
- Participate in joint meetings with distributors to address client needs and provide tailored solutions (as required).
Data Management and Review:
Maintain and regularly review data related to market share and client interactions to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
Operations Coordination:
- Work closely with the Operations team to follow up on pending documents and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and processed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e. , CFA, CFP) preferred.
- Proven experience in client acquisition and relationship management, preferably in a financial services or investment management environment.
- Strong understanding of financial products, asset management, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant software tools
