Head - Community Business Unit (CoBU)


WaterHealth International (WHI) is a Company that provides scalable, safe drinking water solutions to underserved areas across using advanced technology and innovative business models. Headquartered in Irvine, USA, WaterHealth International runs operations worldwide i.e. Ghana, Nigeria and India. WHI was incorporated in 2006 with a vision to provide safe, scalable and affordable drinking water to the underserved communities across the world. In Thirteen (13) years of its operation, WHI has successfully installed and is running more than 500 WaterHealth Centers (WHCs) and 300 Water Vending Machines across the globe providing access to safe water to over seven (7) million consumers.

CoBU - Head is responsible for the performance of the entire business unit and its functions i.e. CART, Operations Quality and Delivery. The key deliverable for this role is the profitability of the business unit. Driving operational excellence and meeting the organization's strategic objectives are the other responsibilities associated with this leadership role.

External Stakeholders :

- Community, Consumers, Delivery Service Providers, Marketing agency, all vendors, local administrative and political bodies, etc.

Internal Stakeholders : All functions within WHIN, WHI, other subsidiaries of WHI

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Define the Annual Operating Plan and the Budget for the Business Unit.

2. Drive the BU profitability, i.e. EBIDTA.

3. Drive delivery business for the WHCs.

4. Contribute to key strategic and tactical thinking and working for WHIN, WHI.

5. Help the CoBU verticals troubleshoot and redress operational issues.

Education : Any Graduation and M.B.A.

Experience :

- The incumbent should have a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience of working in Telecom/ FMCG/ Manufacturing/ Consumer durables/ Insurance/ Retail sectors in Business operations
