Warehouse Consultant - Manufacturing (10-23 yrs)
Primary Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:
- Implement Digital Strategy of Supply Chain :
a) Demand Management with Just in Time & EOQ methodology
b) Electronic Catalogue & System based expediting
c) IoT implementation like barcode, RFID, Tabs, Scanners across warehouse processes
d) Predictive Analytics to support capacity management & Holding cost
- Build a real-time digital supply chain data connect to the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) in order to serve customers, partners, and suppliers
- An experience to implement Drone based cycle count
- Establishes and maintains a program of Operational Excellence, 5S and Culture throughout Smart Warehousing
- Researches, identifies, and implements best practices to ensure lean processes are in place
- Assesses, analyses and interprets metrics to determine current and future state of warehouse productivity with support of Value Stream Mapping
- Trains, coaches and partners with warehouse leadership to ensure SOPs and processes are followed
- Drives profitability and generates revenue by identifying and eliminating non-value-added activities and recognizing missed opportunities
- Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems
