Walking Tree India is a part of Co. Ventures LLP, a Venture Capitalist firm in India with their business spread across technology, manufacturing, design and jewellery with the backing of 4 decades old diamond business.

About the role:

Walking Tree India is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist who will be responsible for designing and implementing strong HR processes to achieve its vision of building a rock-solid organization and culture, which it believes is quintessential for delivering sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities:

i) Drive key people processes such as Recruitment, Performance Management, Career Progression, Compensation, Training & Development.

ii) Ensure Business compliance and employment guidelines norms, including 100% closure of HR SLAs (attendance, payroll and other employee processes). This would include working closely with the Payroll COE for the group companies and ensuring strong foundational processes.

iii) Own and anchor the talent management and retention charter to ensure attrition levels are within targets and under control.

iv) Track trends in employee concerns / behaviour and proactively address them. Gather feedback to build effective solutions and design action plans to bridge the gaps.

v) Provide advice & support to line managers on appropriate team structure & design to meet current & future business needs.

vi) Design and lead the engagement charter. Help career conversations, facilitate leadership connect and motivate employees through innovative Rewards & Recognition programs

Must Haves:

i) 6-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist / HR Business Partner

ii) Recent experience working in a leadership role involved in strategic and operational decision making in HR

iii) Experience working in retail, FMCG/FMCD or consumer-focused businesses.

iv) Experience working in an artisan/blue collar worker heavy organisation

v) Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative

vi) Strong presentability driven by good interpersonal and communication skills

vii) Hands on knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Preferred:

i) MBA in HR from a Tier 1/ Tier 2 university or premier organization work experience
