About Wadhwani Foundation (WF):&nbsp; Founded in 2000 by Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, a leading Silicon Valley entrepreneur, the Wadhwani Foundation's (http://wadhwani-foundation.org) primary mission is economic acceleration in emerging economies. To achieve this, the Foundation has been driving five high impact Initiatives in India with the goal of creating and filling 25 million jobs within the next decade. National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), started in 2003, focuses on job creation through catalyzing and supporting startups as well as helping power Small and Medium Businesses to greater growth. Since inception, NEN has resulted in 2,000 new startups with 12,000+ direct and 50,000+ indirect jobs and is now tracking 1,500+ new companies each year. It has ambitious goals of adding 15 million new jobs. Global Skills Network (GSN) is our job fulfillment initiative which seeks to transform vocational training through online video based eLearning and integrating work readiness into mainstream education. We work with Govt. of India, several states like Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, etc. as well as employers and training institute. The goal is to train and place over 10 million people in the next 5 years Research and Innovation Network (RIN) aims to upgrade India's research eco-system by catalyzing - Centers of Innovations- in partnership with existing research Institutes. The foundation has established the Wadhwani Research Centre for Biotechnology at IIT Bombay and the Shanta Wadhwani Center for Cardiac and Neural Research (SWCCNR) at NCBS, Bangalore. Policy Research Centre provides data driven research inputs for informed policy actions towards creating a human-capital driven growth economy. It sponsors chairs in CSIS, Washington DC and ICRIER, New Delhi We partner closely with Central governments (e.g. Skills and Entrepreneurship Ministry, MHRD, Yuva program, MSDE, etc.) and States (e.g. Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, etc.) while leveraging technologies and networks of partners to enable national scale and impact. NEN Colleges is the team that scopes, identifies and develops educational programs to develop faculty members in India into inspired and effective entrepreneurship educators and mentors for aspiring and new startups. Programs are developed to progressively deal with the increasing complexity of concepts and pedagogies that are relevant to develop knowledge and skills among students and young entrepreneurs. This team also develops the organizing team of E-Leaders who run Entrepreneurship Cells on campus. NEN Education is therefore, a critical part of NEN's Institutional Capacity Building efforts that enable its member institutions to systematically develop themselves as strong platforms supporting entrepreneurship on campus. Additionally, the team is very focused on tracking and measuring outcomes and impact from the different training programs that it runs Responsibilities include: Leads the Colleges program. Works with the MD-NEN, the Colleges field team and NEN Education Partners - national and international - to manage the development of NEN Courses, the defined goals and needs of the NEN network. - Managing the smooth running of NEN Courses for Students and Trainers/Faculty. - Managing &amp; strengthening the community of trainers/faculty members in the network. - Test program and incorporate findings back to the NEN Content Team. - Work with the marketing team to market the program. - Support the development and running of workshops for student leaders of NEN entrepreneurship cells. - Constantly think of and implement new ways to build the nationwide community of NEN entrepreneurship faculty. - Develop, track, evaluate and report Impact Assessment &amp; Institutional Capacity Building metrics in co-ordination with other functional departments of NEN. - Develop annual plans, targets and budgets for the workshops and events activities. Skill and Technical requirements -&nbsp; - Bachelor's or Master's degree in business marketing from Tier 1 institute, with over 18 years of experience - Successfully handled implementation of complex programs involving multiple partners - Preferably worked in Education Management environment - Entrepreneurial mindset and past entrepreneur - Experience with entrepreneurial ecosystems - Experience in higher education - Able to work with equal ease with individuals at different levels of an organization example - Directors or Deans of academic institutions, Faculty members and Student committee heads - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong people skills - Initiative taker &amp; independent self-starter, able to work with minimal guidance - Conceptual with a strong ability to implement plans - Confident in his/her ability with proactive seeking of new skills and knowledge - Maturity and poise that evokes respect - Willingness to work hands-on - Able to work to deadlines and targets - Passionate about education - Comfortable with change, able to work in a fast-paced start up environment - Entrepreneurial: creative, resourceful, and achievement-oriented - Willingness to travel - Technical skills: good with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
