VVF Group - Assistant General Manager - Institutional Sales (9-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
A) Key Account Management and Sales
- End to end client relationship and account management.
- Play an active role by providing key inputs in the SNOP process
- Achieve targeted CMB sales volumes and value from accounts on monthly and year-on-year basis.
- Constant review and negotiation of pricing with targeted accounts to maximize product realization.
- Ensure collection of payments,statutory documents and agreements renewal from targeted accounts by due dates.
- Develop new accounts, new products from existing accounts from drawing board to commercial production.
- Resolve all customer queries on product quality / technical specifications, production, supplies and pricing.
- Constant follow up with production. SCM, plant team in order to ensure the product meets client specifications and timely deliveries
B) Business Development - FMCG, Pharma, Institutional, New Segments/New Products
- Demonstrates advanced understanding of customers products, markets, outsourcing preferences and business challenges
- Obtain leads from Market Research, attend seminars/exhibitions, interact with existing/new customers, suppliers on New products, new SKUs, new Technologies, Processes
- Proactively leverage internal resources to understand internal capacities and to improve technical capabilities knowledge, understand risks and better meet customer needs
- Develop a new area for growing contract manufacturing business like into Institutional Sale through Hospitals, Hotels, Food Chains, Schools/Colleges. Understand the distibution channels, capture product demands like disinfectants, floor cleaners, toilet cleaners, hand sanitizers, hand wash or work with client and in-house R&D to develop new category of products for Institutional sale, actively participate in quotation process like tenders/proposals, techno-commercial negotiations and deal closures.
- Exploring New Products with Existing Customers - New Formulations, New SKUs, New Packaging,
Provide R&D support for new product developments, Provide R&D samples
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong conceptual understanding of sales, marketing, business development, key account management and CRM concepts, trends, and best practices.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Technical knowledge on Oleochemicals, Personal Care Products Business for effective customer interactions.
- Knowledge on a) Production methods / equipment of personal care products and b) Vegetable Oils.(related to VVF Business)
- Updated knowledge on FMCG sector in general, customer requirements, tastes and preferences.
- Basic knowledge of taxes, duties, cesses etc. pertaining to personal care products.
- Strong negotiations and relationship management skills.( internal and external)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep data analysis, planning and forecasting skills
- Advanced MS office usage skills.
