Location - Chennai Qualification- CA For it's team under the CFO, we are seeking to appoint a Senior Vice President - Finance & Account 1. Responsible for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, account statement reconciliations. 2. Manage day-to-day accounting operations. 3. Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams. 4. Implement and monitor the month, quarter and year-end closeout accounting schedules. 5. Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles. 6. Meet financial accounting objectives. 7. Manage and oversee periodic audits. 8. Ensure process streamlining & backup for every critical finance and accounting operation. 9. Undertake all Tax planning initiatives (direct and indirect). 10. Interact with Tax advisors and seek clarifications on company matters pertaining to taxation and keep oneself abreast of latest developments and changes in Taxation laws. 11. Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies. 12. Monitor emerging technology to determine ways to automate the accounting process without sacrificing accuracy and accountability. Banking Experience is a must for this role.
