- Operational management and ensuring a robust control environment of the daily workflow within the Transfer Agency team
- Work with Senior leadership locally & Globally including the POTL to achieve departmental objectives.
- Ensure smooth Client onboardings working closely with global stakeholders
- Contribute to the strategic development of Transfer Agency products
- Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planning
- Provide coaching, direction and leadership to the team
- Provide effective communications to the department, ensuring staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- Operational knowledge of Transfer Agency Dealing function and Overall understanding of TA as a product is preferred
- General operational knowledge of Reconciliation, Settlements, Trade Support, Asset Servicing, Risk and Control, and Custody
- Strong Problem solver
- Strong people management, coaching & leadership skills, ability to lead and motivate managers
- Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
- Strong risk and control awareness, ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
- Confident communicator & influencer to both internal and external clients
- Strategic thinker, able to review and implement process improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
