VP/SVP - Model Risk Governance

Role and responsibilities:

As a VP your main role and responsibilities are ;

- Contributing to the setting of the firm's model risk policies and procedures and supporting activities to ensure that model risk is managed within the approved tolerance levels.

- Advising, reviewing, and challenging the 1LOD on the appropriateness of their model risk management, MRM policy execution and reporting and ensuring appropriate governance exists to mitigate model risk

- Designing and implementing processes to ensure risk steward responsibilities are adhered to in line with the Group Risk Management Framework.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the role you must have:

- Extensive experience of model risk management, governance and/or model development / validation.

- Ability to develop strong networks with key stakeholders at all points in a matrix structure, creating an ability to execute task at hand with minimum conflict.

- Significant experience of local regulators and regulations
