VP/SVP/GEVP/Head - Corporate Salary - Bank (12-15 yrs)

This is regarding a job opportunity with one of the leading bank for the position of Corporate Salary Head- SVP/ GEVP.

Job Opportunity:-

- Instrumental in Corporate Relationship Acquisition & Portfolio Management

- Responsible for the business delivery (NTBs, Value, SLC (80% M+2), Cross-sell including Revenue) of the entire dedicated salary team on performance of key metrics and adherence to Job role as defined by Management.

- Executes the Regional strategy in consultation with the Program Head

- Researches and monitors market competition for the respective region

- Conduct Joint calls with relationship Group BU RM /TLs, BU Heads, Product, Senior Leadership to facilitate acquisition of new key relationships and drive deepening

- Ensuring management of Key Corporates .

- Ensuring ongoing planned activities, events and engagement activities and co-ordination with all stakeholders

- Driving Overall Portfolio Quality Management & Improvement through available data enablers and working along with Leaders / dedicated teams

- Drive performance in various R&R drives for Staff motivation

- Cross Sell & Portfolio Management

- Ensure maximum NTB Acquisition from new mandates (with in 90 days of Mandate on boarding)

- Ensure balanced Sourcing MIX is maintained min (50% accounts should meet SLC criteria of 25k and above)

- Ensure Cross sell of other bank and third-party products to existing customers

- Ensure high engagement at the corporate with the help of thematic camps

- Strengthening Systems, Controls and Processes

- Liaises with respective teams for effective and efficient Fraud Management

- Ensures compliance with Bank's policies and processes

- Performance Management

- Tracks and monitors daily productivity and book movement of the Region

- Partners with the HCM Business partner for periodic review of performance of executives in the region and identify training needs if required

Risk & Internal Control Responsibility

- Implements the risk policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks), ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal requirements.

- Implements the internal control systems in the team and participates in the regional audits.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements

- People Management

- Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the section.

Resource rationalization; Mobilisation & Optimisation

- Ensuring Training & Development

- Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals

- Seeks out new challenges, secures resources and work towards achievement of success

- Displays ownership for team and personal commitments including outcomes of incorrect decisions

- Takes effective decisions for the function/ team, focusing on the short to medium term objectives

- Displays a high sense of initiative and urgency towards delivering results on time

- Raises bar for self-performance in delivery of results while ensuring adherence to stated timelines

- Effectively uses positive influencers and counters negative influencers to meet his objective in a situation

- Identifies sources of errors or aspects impacting quality of work/service delivery and determines a course of action to prevent their recurrence

- Strives to continuously improve existing process and devise new ways of doing things within own sphere of operation to enhance efficiency of the team

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE - 

Minimum Qualifications-
 
Age: Minimum 35 to Maximum 39 years

MBA from a recognized university/premium business schools

- MBA with 9 to 15 years of relevant experience in sales role, relationship management, and client servicing

- Knowledge of banking systems and processes will be an added advantage

- Must have past experience in managing a team; demonstrated successful leadership experience of 3-5 years

- Past Organization: Must necessarily come from Banking Organization, preferable Corporate Salary background
