Role Outline/Job Summary:

The role of Vice President Strategic Business Solutions group is based at AAS Bangalore Center and reports to the SVP leading the team.

The key requirement for the role is the ability to work with data, understand the project objectives, undertake analysis to accomplish project objectives, present the results in a coherent manner, team management and relationship management with onshore stake holders. The individual will possess the ability to work in teams and display a proactive learning attitude.

Role & Responsibilities:

Business/ Department Objectives:

The role of Vice President Strategic Business Solutions group is based at AAS Bangalore Center and reports to the SVP/Director/Senior Director leading the team

VP will be part of the business teams AAS partners with NA Branded Cards on all BAU and strategic initiatives for Customer Growth and merchant analytics

Core Responsibilities:

Analytic Project Execution:

- Build effective teams to deliver on business priorities

- Decompose business priorities into candidate projects

- Consult with partners to initiate project aligned to business needs

- Manage the project pipeline to ensure prioritization and resourcing

- Influence analytic approaches through learnings and insights

Talent Management:

- Manage career progression for the team

- Influence organizational policies on Talent management

Teamwork:

- Manage initiative across the COE

- Establish a structured interaction model with the partner

- Conceptualize, develop and implement strategic analytical solutions across products and customer lifecycle

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Manage initiative across the COE

- Establish a structured interaction model with the partners

Communication:

- Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management

Organizational Development:

- Dismantle organizational silos

- Drive organizational development initiatives

- Effective presenter and able to handle and influence communication based on business requirement

- Experience in banking products and can work under pressure

- Expose to statistical and high-end analytical techniques

Qualifications:

- Established competency in one or more of the following:

- Financial Analysis

- Business Analysis

- Statistical Modeling

- Strong analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability

- Strong presentation and communication skills

- Strong process/project management skill

- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS/SQL and complex data sources

- Experience in one or more financial services businesses (cards, retail bank, mortgage, etc.)
