VP Sales for an extremely reputed Auto component manufacturer

An extremely large and highly respected Auto Component Company has entrusted us with the selection of an outstanding VP - Sales for their Indian Business.

Educational Qualifications: BE/ MBA from reputed institutes.

Experience: Around 20 years.

Location: Mumbai

Purpose of the role:

To grow holistically the business in terms of profit, value, market share, customer satisfaction and depth and quality of talent by leading a competent workforce across India and to generate visibility of brands.

Top Accountabilities:

- Provide Sales & Distribution leadership to the team by leading the sales team of Regional Managers, Zonal Heads, State Heads, Key Account Managers, and Area Sales Executives and influencing relevant elements of P&L.

- Strengthen and expand distribution network and manage the productivity.

- Ensure the entire team consists of right calibred people who are motivated and trained to deliver the results consistently.

- Run the operations effectively with continuous improvements on all the performance parameters such as costs, systems and process adherence, team satisfaction and other business targets.

- Demonstrate leadership, customer orientation, company values, ethics and pride through exemplary behaviour.

- Provide timely submission of sales, forecasts, information on ground, market activities of the competitors and suggest strategies to successfully meet them.

- Build relationship with Dealers and improve their contribution to the overall growth of the company.

- Ensure timely forecasting of the demand and coordinate with supply chain to ensure stock availability.

- Ensure that the financial policies relating to the India region are fully adhered.
