VP - Risk Analysis & Control - BFS

Wholesale Credit & Market Risk is responsible for the approvals, policies, portfolio management and reporting on the Group's Wholesale Credit and Market Risk exposures.

The WMR COE is present in offshore supporting the Group in the areas of Wholesale Credit, Traded Risk, and Risk Transformation.

The Risk Analysis & Control team encompasses all the portfolio analysis, regulatory reporting & monitoring, Data analytics & governance, data validation & control, Stress Testing, IFRS9 reporting, GCLDS (s.166) reporting & control, Stress Testing for both Traded Risk & Wholesale Risk portfolios and data Aggregation.

The teams will support multiple stakeholders across the globe both in Group & Regional offices, in addition to providing country level support as well.

In addition, the teams will participate in various projects & initiatives at all levels.

The role holder will oversee & manage the end to end operations of Risk Analysis & Control and will be accountable to Head, as well as to the Regional/ Group stakeholders.

The role holder is responsible to provide effective & cohesive leadership to the teams.

- 12+ years of professional experience in financial services and risk analytics.

- Prior experience in setting up and leading large specialist teams.

- In depth understanding of Risk Analytics domain, and use of different IT & Statistical tools for Analysis, Reporting & Monitoring.

- Eye for detail, flair to improve data quality & process re-engineering

- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in an innovative environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Hands on experience in people management in a high-performance team of specialist resources
