VP - Regulatory Reporting (8-12 yrs)

- The production of monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reporting to fulfill the UK PRA and EBA requirements

- Monitoring of regulatory ratios and ensuring daily compliance with internal and regulatory limits for the Capital Adequacy, Leverage Ratio and Large Exposures

- Preparation of MIS reports, performing analytical reviews, investigating and resolving unusual and/or significant fluctuations to provide internal stakeholders with the appropriate information for decision making

- Ensuring the appropriate control framework is in place

- Providing input on new product proposals and liaison with Regulatory Policy team with regards to regulatory treatment

- Involvement in various projects to build out infrastructure to support regulatory change (e.g. Basel III)
Basel and / or UK PRA reporting knowledge.

- Product exposure: Derivatives, securities lending, Asset Backed Securities, and general banking products

- Detailed working knowledge of internal controls in a Banking environment in general and specific to a regulatory reporting function.

- Investment Banking Product exposure across key asset classes

Nice to have:

- IFRS familiarity.

- Detailed understanding of Credit Risk components and calculations under the Basel II framework.

- 8+ years post qualification experience in a top tier bank or similar financial institution

- Previous experience in leading and managing a large team

- Previous experience in managing and dealing with multiple stakeholders across multiple regions

- Previous experience in a financial reporting role for a top tier bank or similar financial institution
