VP - Product Control - BFSI

VP - Product Control (Only Diversity)

- Develop a strong team of product controllers with sound technical understanding and deep bench strength and back-ups

- Deliver timely and accurate daily and periodic reporting with high degree of governance and auditable controls ensures traded products are fairly valued, correctly accounted and disclosed, with prudent valuations and accurately reported to regulators.

- Operate and maintain a strong control environment that prevents financial and/or reputational loss to the Group and drive timely remediation for all operational risk matters including those relating to offshore and outsourcing delivery, internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

- Conduct the site Valuation Committee meetings and ensure the forum is meaningful with key issues highlighted, discussed, remediated with proper documentation.

Qualifications :

Skills/Experience Required :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting qualification, MBA (Finance) from a leading management institution with at least 12 years of experience

- Knowledge of Product Control functions in a banking environment would be an advantage and exposure to multiple front office systems exposure to diverse/multi-culture work environments

- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
