Only from Banking / Financial Industry

Experience: 10-18 yrs

CTC: 45LPA

Shift Time: any 8hrs shift b/w 6am to 12 mid night

(pickup and dropping facility is available)

Job Description:

Driving governance around controllership and accounting guidance to business and relevant stakeholders

Business relationship management with the key stakeholders

Responsible for leading and driving the execution of financial accounting control process, process re engineerings etc.

Planning effectively around delivery constraints and optimising the plan to maximise benefits and minimise risk

Anticipating and identifying existing and emerging risks and issues.

Leadership over all regulatory and compliance matters and the management of operational risk

Control the monitoring, tracking and resolving of issues, risks and dependencies on analysis, requirements gathering, training and testing project tasks.

Ensure proactive controls in place to highlight issues before they are picked up by business.

The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term compliance embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

Excellent leadership, management and communication skills

Lateral thinking/problem solving/creativity

Project management experience in respect of large multi-national projects

Experience of managing internal team members from a variety of skill sets and experience levels

Understanding of how to manage and maximise the value of external advisers including project consultants, accountants and lawyers

Ability to draft or verbally present updates to stakeholders and other members of the senior management team that identify progress and explain salient issues

Ability to prepare and review Board and Steering Committee briefing packs
