VP - Operations - Mfg (15-20 yrs)
Objective: The key objective of this role is to run the manufacturing functions efficiently & use the available resources to the optimum.
Job profile:
a) Understand the chemical manufacturing technology to improve the key performance indicators of efficiency and performance.
b) Plan, coordinate and control the production processes efficiently.
c) Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
d) Implement and ensure compliance of global manufacturing standards specified by the organization.
e) Efficient management of operations to achieve the production targets with total customer focus.
f) Continuously strive and improve performance standards by making efficient use of resources.
g) Achieve operational excellence by implementing quality management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA 18001, Lean Sigma, 5S and TPM systems in spirit.
h) Track and review competencies of subordinates and provide the necessary leadership and development to achieve the objectives.
i) Analyze and improve the productivity of production resources, on a continuous basis.
j) Ensure effective documentation and reporting of production activities.
k) Network with all stakeholders effectively for identifying and meeting the customer's requirements.
l) Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization.
m) Implement the corporate HSE strategy and ensure total compliance in the team.
