We are looking for VP – Operations for Knits Division

- Departmental Objectives

- Effective functioning of operation

Role Objective

- Leader, guide and advisor for the operations team.

Principal Expectations

- Ensuring effective running of operations in the units.

- Facilitating effective planning of different styles for the optimum utilization of the capacity.

- Ensuring cost effective operation process with effective man machine ratio / SAM cost to have an edge in the competitive business.

- Ensuring timely delivery of products.

- Responsible for delivering defect free high quality apparels.

- Ensuring smooth coordination between different departments within the unit and across the units.

- Responsible for effective utilization of machinery.

- Managing operations with effective manpower planning.

- Lia son with buyer and buyer's representative.

- Address the customers queries / feedback in coordination with the operation team.

- Coordination with the different technical teams for the hassle free operation process.

- Building cohesive team for meeting the changing business needs.

Knowledge and skill set

- Should have experience of handling 1000 machines

- Overall know - how of the business.

- Technical expertise.

- Management skills

Span of control

Supervisory responsibility:

- Overall in charge of various Knits Production units

Degree of independence

- Independently takes decision on operation related matter. Consults PCH on case to case basis.
