Key Responsibilities include

- Establish and maintain day to day operational relationship with key regulators

- Ensuring Compliance with local laws and regulations including Software Technology of Parks India Regulations, Department of Telecommunications- Regulations, Labor/Employment Law Regulations

- Applying for STPI licenses and renewals including but not limited to LOP (Letter of Permission), Green Card

- Renewal of certificates under the IT policy viz. IT Certificate, Electricity Duty exemption Certificate, Octroi Duty exemption Certificate

- Registration of new sites under Department of Telecommunications

- Applying for CLRA licenses and adherence to Labor Laws

- Conducting a monthly internal exam in partnership with Compliance and Legal to ensure the preparedness of the Corporate Functions for any regulatory exam regarding Vendor Labor Law Compliance

- Publishing and maintaining MIS for tracking open issues to closure

- Assisting in reviewing timely implementation of regulatory changes

- Assisting in monitoring and closing timely implementation of action items merging from regulatory exams/reviews

- Tracking compliance with regulatory requirements

- Keeping abreast of changes to applicable local laws and JPMCB corporate policy.

- Maintaining master guidelines document covering Legal and Compliance advisory on adherence to local laws and regulations

Preparing management and governance reports

Essential Skills/Experience:

- Minimum 7-8 years regulatory or risk management experience gained within a financial institution or regulator

- Experience in laws/issues facing the offshoring/outsourcing industry including Labor Laws, Software Technology of Parks Regulations and the Department of Telecommunications Regulations.

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with business partners and other support functions.

- Able to communicate well and work in a cross-functional team to achieve common goals.

- Ability to analyze complex issues and processes to identify gaps and recommend solutions

- Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver on commitments

- Must be a great team player with a high degree of flexibility, prepared to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment

- Good business judgment and strategic thinking.
