Department Overview:

- Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company, maintains, and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines.

About the role :

- Individual with significant capital markets product, valuation and model expertise who is able to work together across business units, various functions, and geographies

- The Controller's Division is responsible for the accuracy of the Company's financial statements, establishing corporate accounting policies, preparing Securities and regulatory reports and ensuring the adequacy of internal controls.

Responsibilities:

- This role is for a leader of what will be a newly created Enterprise Global Service team within the recently mandated enterprise-wide Independent Price Verification Center of Excellence.

- This team is responsible for ensuring accurate valuations and performing validation processes across all capital markets products, including but not limited to securities and derivatives.

- This role will require liaising with executive and business unit management, accounting groups, risk groups and functional partners on issues related to capital market product valuations.

- The position requires an in-depth understanding of various valuation techniques, models and model inputs.

- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skill sets. Individual will be expected to provide leadership, assist with problem identification and solutions, and share best practices.

- This role will be required to frequently interact with senior management, business unit leaders, internal and external auditors, regulators and other business partners.

- The successful candidate will be a highly motivated team player and a self-starter who is accustomed to working in complex organizations, partnering with a diverse group of stakeholders, and achieving results.

- Excellent project management, planning and communication skills are required as this position needs to be highly skilled in anticipating and articulating issues and communicating those issues to various audiences within the organization. Modeling knowledge related to a variety of models will be helpful to be effective in this role.

Essential Qualifications:

- 16+yrs of overall experience, Bachelor's degree or higher - preferably in a quantitative discipline, or business related field

- Experience in trading, valuing or price validating capital market instruments

- Previous experience with Model Risk Management practices including Model Governance and/or Model Validation

- Highly organized and proactive; should be able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment and deal with multiple priorities

- The ability to effectively manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines

- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners

- Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with business partners, peers and senior management

- Strong conceptual and quantitative problem solving skills; ability to provide credible challenge

- Detail-oriented and flexible

- Dedicated, enthusiastic, self-driven and performance-oriented; possess a strong work ethic

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of capital markets products, including securities and derivatives

- Knowledge and understanding of model review and validation

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

- Strong project management skills

- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
