VP/Head - Product Engineering - SAS Based PHP Technology Product - IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/MDI

The VP Engineering will be a hands on Technologist with solid exposure to consumer internet business, SAS and proficient in Agile Development Methodology and shall be responsible for: Technical Product Development:

- The ideal candidate will be a computer sciences engineer from IIT/NIT/IIIT

- Extensive experience in Open source technologies with hands on previous experience in PHP and MySQL

Candidate Profile :

- 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience - start-up experience would be a plus

- Proven ability to build a solid team and thrive in dynamic environment

- Very strong bias towards actions - result oriented and pro-active

- Exposure to Android / iOS app development, hands on open source technology including PHP, Python, COGNOS, Hadoop

- Excellent project management skills to plan and monitor progress

Skill-set :

- Strong hold in backend development and algorithms

- Thorough Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JQuery, Javascript, HTML and CSS

- Experience in building large scale system designs

- Ability to pick-up any new language / frame-work / protocol

- Strong hold in Object Oriented Programming and Design Patterns

- Experience with debugging tools like selenium, xdebug

- You must be from IIT/NIT and have an international or premium education from Indian Management College.

- Technology leaders willing to relocate to India will be a huge Plus
